I find that people like to dabble lest
They be pinned down, this even to the best.
They'd feel much safer if the Word were just
Another ice cream flavor in the mist.
And as for designated prophets, NO!
That's a direction they don't want to go.
They'll shower praise on some sick narcissist,
But God's awkward selections won't be missed.
To one who comes in his own name they throng,
But one who comes in His is just a song.
